World 3: Vanilla+

The biggest of the three: a new world built on the Vanilla+ modpack, which keeps Minecraft’s look and feel and fills the world with more of it. New terrain and biomes, many more structures to find, new animals, cooking and farming, storage, backpacks and fast travel.

You need the pack to join: the world has blocks, items and mobs a vanilla client does not know.

Reset on 2026-10-29. Wilder Wild, Naturalist and Streams Reflowing left the pack that day, and the world started over without them. The first world is kept on the server, not deleted.

What changes for everyone

• The world itself:
  • Terralith and Tectonic: nearly 100 new biomes and much grander terrain.
• More to find: Dungeons and Taverns, Towns and Towers, Explorify and Repurposed Structures add villages, ships, dungeons, taverns and variants of vanilla structures; Sparse Structures spreads them out so they stay special. Explorer’s Compass and Nature’s Compass point you at structures and biomes.
• Things to do:
  • Farmer’s Delight: cooking and farming.
  • Tom’s Simple Storage: a storage network with one terminal.
  • Traveler’s Backpack: upgradeable backpacks.
  • Waystones: fast travel between waystones you find or build.
  • Comforts: sleeping bags and hammocks.
• Conveniences:
  • FallingTree fells whole trees.
  • Carry On: sneak and right-click with an empty hand to pick up a mob (villagers and zombies too) or a chest with its contents, and carry it.
  • Villager in a Bucket: right-click a villager, wandering trader or zombie villager with an empty bucket to carry it as an item, trades and all.
  • Ore Vein Miner mines a connected vein of ore at once: sneak while you break one with a pickaxe.
  • Dynamic Lights makes held torches light the area.
  • Clumps merges XP orbs.
  • Creepers still hurt you, but their explosions no longer break blocks.
  • Half the players can skip the night.
  • Unloaded Activity catches up crops, furnaces and the like in chunks nobody was near, so a base keeps going while you explore. It counts server time only: an asleep world has no time passing, so after the last player leaves it covers the 20 minutes before the world sleeps.
• Distant terrain: Voxy draws far-away land from what the server sends.
• The server runs a stack of performance mods (C2ME, Lithium, ScalableLux, ServerCore, Krypton, Alternate Current for redstone) and spark for profiling.

What your pack adds

• Performance: Sodium and friends, Iris, ImmediatelyFast, Entity Culling, More Culling, Dynamic FPS, FastQuit.
• Interface:
  • Xaero’s Minimap and World Map.
  • Jade (what you are looking at), AppleSkin, Shulker Box Tooltip, Mouse Tweaks. AppleSkin’s saturation outline is gold: Overgrown Flowery GUI draws it in the same blue as its hunger droplets, so the pack’s own appleskin-saturation resource pack recolours its droplet outlines.
  • JEI: every item’s recipes and uses; press R on an item for its recipes and U for what it makes.
  • uku’s Armor HUD: your armor and its durability, next to the hotbar.
  • Ok Zoomer, Freecam, Chat Heads, Mod Menu.
• Visuals and sound:
  • Two shader packs: MiniatureXL and Complementary Reimagined. Switch between them, or off, in Video Settings → Shader Packs. The with-options pack starts with MiniatureXL on.
  • Fresh Animations and its extensions, Not Enough Animations and Punchy for livelier mobs and players.
  • 3D Skin Layers, Falling Leaves, Particle Rain, AmbientSounds.
  • A set of vanilla-style resource packs (3D ladders, lanterns and flowers, connected glass and paths, dark GUI, lower fire and shield). The with-options pack turns them all on; with the plain pack, turn on the ones you want in Options → Resource Packs.

Tips

• Shaders are heavy, and the with-options pack starts with one on. If the game stutters, turn shaders off first; Complementary is the one to try on a strong GPU.
• Waystones are the way around a big world: activate every one you pass.
• The compasses are crafted; check a recipe in your inventory’s recipe book.

On the server

Everyone on the world gets these. server only ones change the world without needing anything on your side.

In your pack only

Performance, interface and visuals. Nobody else sees them, and the world works without them.
